Motivation to Learn
How your motivation works matters
Some students are only motivated by social acceptance and rewards, such as grades. If someone is only motivated by these extrinsic reasons, they will struggle to learn well.
The best type of learning happens when a student is motivated by learning itself; getting stimulation from knowing more, being more self-confident, and reaching toward your goals.
Learning and success go together like two peas in a pod; to be successful in almost any career, you must first learn all about it. Motivation to learn is synonymous with motivation to succeed.
